collection of boutiques, gift shops, art galleries and
traditional bars boasting live music, entertainment and quiz
nights. There are several award winning gourmet restaurants
and bistros and eclectic cafes, which cater for everything
from early-bird breakfasts through to late night dining.

Holywood itself has recently been voted Best
Kept Medium Town and hosts a range of facilities for
residents and visitors including children’s’ play parks,
scenic coastal and woodland walks, golf, a leisure centre,
the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum at Cultra and many
other tourist facilities, some of which are listed below.
The recently developed Holywood Exchange also
boasts, amongst other large retail outlets, Northern
Irelands only IKEA store, with a coffee shop overlooking the
runway of Belfast City Airport for a unique shopping day
out. Ikea is located a 5 minute drive away from Braeside
Holywood is an excellent location from which
to explore North Down and further afield, with excellent
transport facilities in terms of road, bus, rail, and ferry
terminal connection, with the George Best Belfast City
Airport located nearby.
